Taffy is from the colony, one of Tortie's many kittens. She came in when she got very sick. Somehow (probably a combination of many stresses and allergies), her belly was inflamed and she'd lost all of the fur there. She's since made a full recovery, but isn't too fond of being approached by people -- except by invitation and in designated safe spots.
Taffy is the daughter of Tortie.
