Tennessee (Tenny) is a sweet but timid cat. She was born around 4 September 1998. Her exact birth date isn't known, because she was brought in as a stray along with her mother and siblings.
Tenny is very reserved. She purrs when petted, but avoids human contact when given the chance. When picked up, she will squeal or growl (sometimes both at the same time), but doesn't scratch or bite. She doesn't care for handling, but is clearly not wild.
She can be approached in her safe places (mainly the top of the cat tree) without panicking. When she is on the ground, she has about an 8 foot comfort zone. That range seems to be shrinking with time, and she is starting to only run a few feet away and then stop if not pursued.
Tenny plays well with other cats, and occasionally with toys but isn't too attached to people as yet.
