[Abandoned 19 August 1999]
Duet was abandoned along with her (assumed) siblings at about 5 weeks of age. Their story is here.
She was placed in a new home on 5 December 1999, through C.A.R.E.
Duet is a tortie female, about 13 weeks old (estimated born 15-22 July 1999). She and family are currently seeking permanent homes.
She is in good health and playful. Currently a small kitten (Duet and Echo are the little ones), she is an eager shoulder cat and is playing well whenever the opportunity arises.
Duet has the odd/cute habit at the moment of attempting to "nurse" on the back of her siblings ears, giving the impression that they've been bathed and aren't quite dry yet. (This is called being Duet behind the ears.)
Duet is also the kitten who is still small enough (and determined enough) to escape the larger cage that we have set up. So she tends to spend much of the time in the "girls room" with her sisters.
